Mugabe-Zuma ignore Xenophobia attacks

The ongoing Xenophobia attacks in South Africa have continuously exposed my fellow African countries on how naive and self-centred we are in terms of tolerance amongst each other. The big question though that has been lingering in my mind is “who is to blame for these attacks” one school of thought is of the belief that Both President Robert Mugabe and President Jacob Zuma from Zimbabwe and South Africa respectively are to collectively blame for the atrocities taking part in South Africa.

Bleak future for University Students

Statement indicating the closure of the University of Zimbabwe yesterday

Zimbabwean University student’s future lies bleak at the failure by the government to pay lectures has forced a wave of strikes right round the country.

Lectures have not been paid their wages and allowances dating back to January.  The University of Zimbabwe students were forced to abort their lectures yesterday amid revelations that lectures and general hand at the institution downed tools and ordered everyone out of the university with immediate effect.

The Movement for Democratic Change Led by Professor Welshman Ncube has condemned the illegal occupation of the Maleme farmland by unscrupulous Zanu Pf officials.

I have been to Maleme Ranch on three occasions in the last few weeks, have spoken to people there more so the elderly. These people have always had a very clear message to authorities and the message has been simple, loud and clear and I don't understand why its being ignored.
