The recent launch of the United Movement for Democratic Change (UMDC) has roused a number of questions to the ordinary populace of Zimbabwe who have since had their hopes of removing the Zanu Pf regime out of power since the formation of a formidable opposition in 1999. Scores of media practitioners around Zimbabwe have breathed a sigh of relief after the Broadcasting Authority of Zimbabwe (BAZ) has named five companies that won local commercial radio licences to broadcast in eight selected urban centres following interviews conducted last year.
